The issue of addressing Loss and Damage Fund resulting from climate impacts is a hot global topic of debate and mostly developing countries bear the brunt of it. Developed countries from COP28 promised a historic agreement on operationalizing the Loss and Damage Fund to help developing countries cope with and recover from the effects of climate change. From this scenario, it’s of crucial time that we have to tap into strategic implications for Asian countries to reinforce good governance towards managing this Loss and Damage Fund.

FES Asia asks four climate experts how can the Loss and Damage Fund be allocated, disbursed and accessed by vulnerable communities and how it contributes to the climate justice movement as a whole and what does it mean for Asian governments in regards to the process of Global Stocktake.
